- Tear Jerker: "Ladies and Gentlemen..." is one of the most beautiful tracks ever made.
- Also, "Stay With Me", "Home Of The Brave", "Broken Heart", "Cool Waves" (dear GOD, "Cool Waves"), "Stop Your Crying" ("Cool Waves" up to eleven), "Lord Can You Hear Me".
- Practically all of Songs In A&E qualifies.
- From Sweet Heart Sweet Light, "So Long You Pretty Thing" shows no mercy to the tear ducts.
- Nightmare Fuel: "The Individual" from Ladies And Gentlemen..., an apocalyptic-sounding drone track featuring a wall of discordant sax. The fact that it slowly overtakes the mellow, dreamy "Home Of The Brave" doesn't help either.
- "Cop Shoot Cop..." also has a 7-minute, equally discordant noise rock/free jazz section that certainly qualifies.
