  • Crossover Ship: A bunch of crossover pairings happen in this series here.
    • The most focused upon pairing in this series is Matt Murdock and Faith Lehane, and its shown how they bring each other out of the darkness and make each other better people. By the end of the series, they are a happily married couple with a little boy, a dog, and another baby on the way.
    • There's Peter Parker and Dawn Summers, with the romance being built up to right from around their first meeting, and they become a couple at the end of The Spider, the Slayer and the Key. The series ends with their wedding.
    • Matt and Cordelia also date briefly in A Devil in the City of Angels, but eventually break up due to their responsibilities in their cities and remain friends.
    • Matt dated Lilah in college briefly as well.
    • Steve Rogers and Fred Burkle start a relationship first but when Fred and Illyria start sharing a body, Illyria too falls for Steve, so it becomes an example of Polyamory.
    • Briefly touched upon with Wanda and Oz but this doesn't get much screen time.
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • In spite of his issues with soulless Spike, Peter is much nicer to him than the other Scoobies are, at one point even telling him that if he loves Buffy, then instead of showing her he loves her, he should show her why she should love him.
    • Matt and Cordelia sharing about themselves to each other before their first time, and just how both are able to be a relatively normal partner to each other compared to most of their other partners.
    • Willow visits Faith in prison, and they talk about redemption, which inspires the latter's Redemption Quest.
    • Wong takes in Willow after she is brought back to normal to train her, and they eventually form a father/daughter bond that Strange teases the Wong over.
    • Almost any scene with Matt and Faith, but special mention goes to the time Faith lies on top of an asleep Matt, as well as them confessing to each other in the musical, and obviously their first date and wedding. Plus the time Matt comforts her after the spat with Buffy.
    • There is a certain heartwarming quality to Faith's friendship with Willow, Tara and Dawn, and how they end up being gal pals.
    • What happens when Spike finds Dawn shaken up after her ordeal with the First? He makes sure she goes to sleep.
    • Matt and the Devil within him finally talk, and understand each other, with Matt naming him Adam. Eventually, the two come to see each other as brothers.
    • Peter comforts Dawn when she finds out she is not a Potential, and points out to her how much she actually contributes to the Scoobies.
    • Connor crawling, his first words, and when he calls Cordelia as 'mama'.
    • Fred's reunion with her friends after she is ressurected. Even Lilah of all people hugs her.
    • Lilah redeems herself over the the course of the seventh story, and even sheds happy tears at the end of it.
    • Elektra forgives Matt for the death of her doppelganger from his world.
    • Cordelia hands over baby Connor to Darla's ensouled doppelganger in the last story so that he can be held by his real mother at least once.
    • Any scene where the Spider-Men are bonding, just like in canon.
  • Moment of Awesome: Matt uses his Devil power to command the Vampire cult that worships Connor to leave them.
  • Narm Charm:
    • The scenes where Kennedy is pranked by Peter and Dawn reek of this. And it seems to be the point as well.
    • All of the interactions between Vampire Willow and sexy Tara in the final story, considering they seem to be horny 24/7.
  • Nightmare Fuel:
    • Mephisto is considered a big deal amongst most circles to the point the Senior Partners command the entire firm to stay away from Matt due to his connection to Mephisto. His presence scares almost everyone near him, whether it be a Demon like Sahjhan, or even a fallen higher Power like Jasmine.
    • Apocalypse is the only who is even scarier than Mephisto, to the point even Mephisto does not appear to him after having granted him the power. It takes the heroes at their most powerful, and Adam absorbing energy from all Dimensions, to finally beat him.
  • Tear Jerker:
    • The entire storyline with Joyce's tumor is just as heartbreaking as it is in the show.
    • Matt and Cordelia may not have dated for long, but their mature breakup is a sad scene nonetheless.
    • Just how Matt is when he finds out about the Devil inside of him.
    • The ending of Avengers: Infinity War was bad enough, but this fic ups the casualties, as Tara fades away in front of the devastated Willow, while Xander has to watch Anya meet the same fate, and Peter turns to dust in Dawn's arms. While Matt loses everyone he cares about except Team Angel.
    • The entire state that Matt seems to be in after Thanos' snap before Faith comes into his life is concerning and heartbreaking at the same time.
    • Its hard not to have some tears when Matt turns into the Devil and decides to brave Quor'toth to bring Connor back.
    • Faith's condition after Matt has gone into Quor'toth is almost as bad as Matt's condition after Thanos' snap.
    • The first proper conversation between Matt and the Devil within him, who gets named Adam.
    • Fred succumbing to the infection, along with everyone's reactions to it, is just as bad as in canon.
    • Lilah's redemption, and her shedding tears over it at the end of the seventh story totally falls into this category.
    • When Cordelia hands over baby Connor to Darla's ensouled doppelganger so he can held by his mother at least once.
    • Think May's death in Spider-Man: No Way Home was bad enough? In this fic, Giles loses his life as well. Then there's the scene where Buffy responds to walking in on his body similarly to how she reacted to walking on Joyce's body.
    • Peter-3 saves Dawn Summers to redeem himself for Gwen Stacy's death. What goes through his mind during the entire thing, including the flashback to Gwen's death, just shows how haunted he still is.
    • The deaths in the last story hit hard, but Matt losing Adam and Stick's ghost at the same time, who sacrifice themselves to save everyone is a gut punch in itself.
