• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • Kenny berates Stan for not caring when he dies. This episode was immediately followed by "Chef Goes Nanners", in which we see Stan laugh when Kenny dies. Poor Kenny.
    • One season later, an episode deals with Stan caring about Kenny's eventual death.
  • In the following decade, several notable charlatans in the same vein as Miss Information have become quite prominent. Some have been responsible for the deaths of sick children by denying them life saving medicine in favour of All-Natural Snake Oil.
• Moral Event Horizon: Miss Information convinces Sheila to continue buying her All-Natural Snake Oil and ignore medical treatment for Kyle, even with the blatant knowledge it is making him worse. When it is obvious Kyle is slowly dying and Miss Information still tries to push for a purchase, her two assistants draw the line and expose the scam. Her beating at the hands of the livid townspeople is brief but satisfying.
• Strawman Has a Point: Cartman flat out says he wants Kyle to die and leverages his life at 10 million dollars. The thing is, as selfish and petty Cartman is, he does have the legal right to decide whether or not to donate his own organs.
