YMMV / South Park S 23 E 4 Let Them Eat Goo

• Catharsis Factor: After getting away with murder twice this season, seeing Randy getting his comeuppance come his third murder (which, by the way, was deliberately set up) is absolutely satisfying.
• Crosses the Line Twice:
  • The literal first thing that Cartman does after being revived from a heart attack twice is saying "Fuck you, Wendy" while flipping the bird.
  • Randy and Towlie slaughtering cows? Terrible. Them doing it while baked out of their minds, giggling like idiots and reggae music playing in the background? Hilarious.
• Moral Event Horizon:
  • As if blowing up homegrown weed growers and murdering Winnie-the-Pooh wasn't enough, Randy moves on to killing cows with the aid of Towelie. This time around, he gets caught for it.
  • Towelie helping Randy with the aforementioned murders and taking sadistic glee in doing so is where he shows himself to be just as unethical as Randy. It’s especially bad when one remembers he left Tegridy Farms because Randy was behaving unethically.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: That fact that Heidi Turner doesn't make any appearance in this episode felt like a missed opportunity, because she was confirmed to be a vegan in "Doubling Down" and since this episode focused on plant-based food alternatives, Cartman's complaints about it and the girls' support on the stance, Heidi could have easily made an appearance and give her opinion on the subject.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: The Goo Man could have served as a competitor to Randy’s business and the Big Bad of the season, but he disappears after this episode.
