• Faux Symbolism: Sort of. Due to her use of Saturnian symbolism, people assume she is devoted to the Roman deity Saturn, when this is not the case. In Alchemical symbolism and Western occultism in general, Saturn is associated with old age, the physical realm, death, and materialism, with the Sun being God, and she explained in an early interview that "Saturn" is used to symbolize the extreme pain she has endured.
• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: Sopor Aeternus has acquired a devoted following in Latin America, especially Mexico, for unknown reasons. Possibly for sounding like fellow German Gothic act Lacrimosa who already had a big base in Mexico.
• Narm: Several of the early Metal Screams sound hilarious. Cantodea has since learned how to deliver them effectively.
  • Several of the songs on Spiral Traveller and "Voyager" for their total cornball nature; and her later work for being playful and silly.
• Narm Charm: Everything mentioned under Narm is appreciated by her fanbase.
