• Disappointing Last Level: The final mission is something of a Post-Final Boss, brought about after the Puppet King Raven's employers have installed after Raven kills Bibi Rashada betrays them. What follows is a Longshot Contract that is shorter than the previous ones. There are only two targets: The aforementioned traitor and one of his civilian advisors. The sniping points are fairly close to each other and are both fairly lightly guarded. The only real twist on it is that the advisor is one of three different people and you have to differentiate from, but there's no penalty for killing all three (and there's even a bonus for doing so without raising the alarm).
• Even Better Sequel: Improving a variety of things from the last game (itself considered a massive improvement over its predecessors), Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 currently sits with a very positive 80% approval rating on Steam - the highest score the series has ever managed to achieve.
• Narm: During the intro briefing, Raven's handler notes that the president of Kuamar has been assassinated and his wife has taken power. The game adds a wholly unnecessary "HE WAS KILLED" as a caption that completely deflates any seriousness from the scene.
