- Snagglepuss was a pink panther 4 years before a more famous Pink Panther was created.
- In the segment "Snagglepuss Meets the Creepy Family," the giant mouse is only able to say "snarf." This short came out a good 20 years before ThunderCats.
- LGBT Fanbase: Due to the popular interpretation that he is gay, Snagglepuss has a large following among gay people.
