- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The incident at the pirate radio station where the band and radio station crew are shot at during a promotional event for their first single is pretty much entirely this trope. It comes out of nowhere, is pretty out of place with the tone and style of the film, and is only mentioned briefly in the next scene as having helped the publicity and success of the single. It's never even mentioned who is shooting or why!
