  • Alternative Character Interpretation: While Cristine made her usual jokes about her collab partner finding her strange and annoying in her videos with "How To Cake It"'s Yolanda, many viewers, including Cristine's sister Jen, thought Yolanda actually showed genuine annoyance with Cristine and wasn't connecting well with her. Cristine has noted this and in one of her Simplypodlogical episodes admitted that she is often extremely awkward in person, specially with people she's not already familiar with, which causes her to compensate by being even more over-the-top which can be seen as obnoxious by others.
  • Crack Ship: Since Ben's brother's first appearance, fans have begun to ship Jen and him together, despite not knowing his name yet (Matt), whether or not he is single (he is) or even interested in women (he is too), not to mention the two have never interacted with each other on camera. He wasn't even formally introduce until his second appearance in early 2020.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse:
    • Ben is absolutely loved by viewers for his Only Sane Man personality while being supportive of Cristine, and for his surprising skill at watermarbling.
    • Her sister Jen is also beloved for her even crazier personality, with shades of Deadpan Snarker.
    • Despite appearing in only 2 episodes and a cameo, Ben's brother Matt is very popular for his great on-screen chemistry with Cristine and for his stories of being a troll as a kid.
  • Growing the Beard: Cristine began to make better, diverse (and more hilarious) content ever since she started speaking and showing her face in her videos.
  • Periphery Demographic: One wouldn't think a nail channel would have such a wide fanbase, but many watch Cristine's videos for her attitude and personality, regardless of what she's doing, which probably explains the 7-10% male subscribers she got.
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • The infamous Polish Mountain video, which spawned the "100 Layers of [beauty product] challenge".
    • Holosexual. The term Cristine frequently used to described her obsession with holographic nail polish has spawned quite a following and is used by her fans to describe themselves.
    • #SimplyXlogical. This is used by fans for something they want to happen. Mostly used by fans as #SimplyBenlogical when fans are impressed with Ben's watermarbling ability and ask for him to get his own channel.
    • The way she pronounces Ben's name ("Beyn") is sometimes used by fans when they send her mail. It became an Ascended Meme when Cristine released merch with Ben's face in a mock Starbucks logo that read "BEYNNN, IS THAT MY TEA?". She even made Ben wear the shirt for promo pics much to his chagrin.
