• Aluminum Christmas Trees: Yes, Oscar Newman did in fact have that beard.
• Award Snub: The show was completely overlooked at the 2016 Emmys. It wasn't entirely unforeseeable, given how the show aired practically a year before the deadline and was eligible in a year where the Movie and Limited Series were particularly competitive, but the omission of Oscar Isaac from the Best Actor line-up (following his win at the Golden Globes) was considered stunning by some.
