  • The scene of an underaged North Korean soldier, mortally wounded, and begging for his mother.
  • The entire ending where what remains of the 71 soldiers starts dying one at a time from the continuous onslaught of North Korean forces, after spending months together as a tight-knit family.
  • Jang-beom and Kap-Joo fighting to their last breath despite the odds against them, eventually dying for the greater good.
