• Alternative Character Interpretation: You may not have noticed, but the Ghost Clown for some reason doesn’t try to make Daphne commit a Psychic-Assisted Suicide like he tried to do to Scooby and Shaggy. This could mean a lot of things like while he’s willing to hypnotize Daphne, he’s too taken by her beauty to make her kill herself. That or he probably thought of offing everyone else and making her his permanent Lovely Assistant while hypnotized.
  • This is dropped in the Gold Keys comic adaptation, where the Ghost Clown indeed plans on feeding Daphne to the lion.
• Best Known for the Fanservice: The scene where Daphne wears a ballerina outfit while under the Ghost Clown's hypnosis is widely regarded as fanservice and the most memorable moment of the episode.
• Fridge Horror: Given his callousness about endangering the other characters, it's possible Harry may not have spared Daphne's modesty when he had her change into her ballerina outfit, or that he himself did the deed. That's not even describing what would happen if Velma ended up running afoul with him.
• Signature Scene: The scene where Daphne gets hypnotized is considered to be one of the more memorable scenes of the show.
