• Harsher in Hindsight: Aku's famous rant about how he and Jack are trapped in a two-man Forever War against each other and neither achieve victory gets a lot darker after the fifty-year Time Skip in Season 5. Turns out decades of this conflict gives both Aku and Jack crippling depression.
• Memetic Mutation: This was the episode that gave us "EXTRA THICK!" The rest of the scene, in which Aku orders a minion like a pizza delivery, is a close second in popularity.
• Signature Scene: The entire scene of Aku Leaning on the Fourth Wall has become one of the most popular scenes of the whole series.
