YMMV / SBIG Series

  • Archive Panic: It's nowhere near as bad as many other examples, and the individual stories (with two exceptions) are not very long, but it's adding up. Want to get through the entire series? The author did a tally of everything that's been published in all eight of the stories up to Gumball Vs Satan, ending it up at around 440,954 words. HHC has season six which, as the author estimated, brought at the absolute least an additional 10,000 words each chapter if the pattern in seasons 4 and 5 is any indication, as with the long and complex plotlines in each individual chapter. There's six chapters in season six, meaning 60,000 words + however many are in the seventh and final season (which he admits can range anywhere from really short to soul-crushingly long). Then there's four chapters of Gumball Vs Satan, both a direct sequel to and a "side-story" in the same style of Kids Fit the Trolls, an entire upcoming story by the name of naruto the guy with the ninja, the second chapter of EDventure, Zombie Attack!s eventual remake (admitted to likely be a little longer than the original, but that's not saying much), the three later comics in Sheldin and Lenard's life, and SBIGlets, each chapter/story of which is of pretty decent length on its own and they're set to cause a big confusion if you try to tie most of them together.note  Finally, there's the farther-term idea of remaking SJAHJ, but that one's confirmed not to start until Total Zeksmit Plains is done. Again, by themselves this isn't much, but it will add up.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: KIDS FIGHT THE ZOMBIES is set in Las Vegas (at first) and features a killer encountered in one of the hotels. A little awkward to read considering the real-life mass shooting incident that happened after the story was published. Not helping matters is the fact that Roxy unintentionally ends up blowing up the entire strip because she forgot she left the stove on.
