YMMV / Rusty Rivets

• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: While Rusty Rivets has been screwed over by Nickelodeon’s USA branch (even though the hate for the show has pretty much died down, and has now been vindicated), the show is very popular in Mexico, where the show reran on Mexico’s Canal 5 until November of 2023.
• Vindicated by History: The show was originally largely lambasted by audiences in the United States, especially when they negatively compared it to a certain Boy Genius (Although Rusty was an inventor), Nickelodeon even listened to their audiences, (specifically their older fanbase from the 90s, and early 2000s) and placed the show on their Nick Jr. network for the rest of it’s run, overtime though, younger people who remembered the show, are very positive of it, and the reputation of Rusty Rivets largely, (though not entirely) improved, so much so, that Spin Master (Who owns Rusty) rereleased the show on YouTube.
