• Awesome Music: The whole opera has some of the most dreamy music to ever exist. Special mention to the famous Song to the Moon aria.
• Heartwarming Moments: The Song to the Moon is one of them. Really, a good portion of Act I is heartwarming, with the adorable father-daughter relationship between Rusalka and Vodník, the Prince meeting the shy human Rusalka, there are a lot of sweet moments in the first act.
• Tear Jerker: Vodník lamenting over Rusalka is definitely sad, since he's basically a father watching his daughter suffer in a new place, and feels helpless because he can't really do much. And of course, Act III will definitely bring tears to the eyes.
• The Woobie: Poor Rusalka goes through so much, from giving up her happiness in the lake to being brushed aside by a Prince who seemed to love her at first, and is then damned to be a death spirit at the bottom of the lake for eternity.
