• Hate Sink: Theodore Hornsby Sr. is a megalomaniac with zero redeeming qualities. Going at length about what he's done (and tried to do) would make him the devil.
• Just Here for Godzilla: If there's at least one reason to even notice this show's existence, the fact that Maile Flanagan, the voice actress of Naruto, plays a main role here. Oh, and Hinata's voice actress too.
• Moral Event Horizon: What Theo Sr. does to his wife Marjorie. He forces her to take the blame for something he (inadvertently) caused and tears her away from Stebe and Theo, both still young children at the time, and ends up imprisoned for the rest of her life. It's made worse by the fact that it's shown that she was a good mother to her sons despite the fact she used to be a cannibalistic serial killer who truly did change, while Theo Sr. never has or will.
• Tear Jerker: Episode 2's ending (which has The Fixer (Gilbert Gottfried's character) sacrifice himself to make sure Theo doesn't go to jail for murder and motor vehicle theft). is played out in a genuinely dramatic manner. The episode airing after Gottfried's death makes it all the more sad. There's even a special credit right before the main saying three simple and heartbreaking words.
