- Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Everyone but Ralph in The Whole Rotten Truth. They all get upset at Ralph for repeating what they were saying behind each other's backs (about Mom's cooking, Dad's incompetence at fixing things, Sarah's terrible singing etc). And while while Ralph was only doing it to get back at Dad for forcing him to tell the truth, Ralph was only repeating what they themselves had said. While Dad does admit that they were all saying rotten things about each other, it was still Ralph who was initially singled out for all the blame.Sarah crying and telling Ralph that she doesn't want to play with him any more was not, as intended, a scene in which she held the moral high ground, considering what she was saying behind her parents backs. Percy comes across the worst of them, as at the beginning of the episode, he was in tears at the prospect of the family not wanting to see him, only to snobbishly criticize everyone when he was welcomed inside.
