YMMV / Root Double: Before Crime * After Days

• Adorkable: The Xtend episodes of Kazami and Watase's reveal that for all of her professional and cold front during work, she pretty much acted like a flustered schoolgirl when she realized that she is in love with Watase and makes several attempts to get close to her, culminating in her confessing out loud in the middle of physical training after Watase chewed her out for getting distracted and nearly got herself run over by a car.
• Ending Fatigue: The last route, Root D feels very dragged out even when compared to Root B which suffers from Slow-Paced Beginning. Despite taking place for 3 hours in-game, it can take upwards of 20 hours of playtime to finish it. The main problem with this route is that you have to sit through the back story of the all the main characters except for Natsuhiko and Mashiro (her backstory is at the end of Root B). While the game gives you the option of reading either the full version of their story or the shortened version, you have to read the full one if you want to obtain the Golden Ending.
• Harsher in Hindsight: All of the flashbacks with Nagisa in them become much more painful to watch after learning what she becomes.
