• It's Hard, So It Sucks!: Easily one of the biggest complaints is just how extremely unfriendly the game is towards newbies. Even if you re-roll to get a better race and actively use a guide, you’ll still likely get your ass kicked and lose all of your lives in seconds unless you quickly shape up.
• Memetic Mutation: The phrase "skill issue" is often credited as originating from Rogue. Another, more ironic, usage involves it being used in gifs of players in otherwise unwinnable situations, such as being instantly killed with no warning by exploiters.
