• Awesome Ego: Scissors has a big ego but is loved by fans, especially fangirls.
• Harsher in Hindsight: During the credits of "The First Lou Episode", Lou rants about things that he hates, and is about to go into a tirade about Nickelodeon before being cutoff. The episode aired about a month before the docuseries Quiet on Set revealed just how vile Nickelodeon is.
• Spiritual Successor:
  • To The Mighty Ones, even down to its anthropomorphism of common household objects, and both having a main character who is a rock.
  • Some fans have compared it to a kid-friendly version of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, with both shows having a very similar trio of anthropomorphic objects living in a world of humans and a semi realistic background style.
