- Captain Obvious Reveal: Lang is actually Linnux. A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing. Never heard that one before...
- Cliché Storm: The reoccurring criticism for the movie is that the plot is even more predictable than ever. Bodi and his band are sought out by a music mogul who ensures them fame, and from that alone, one can predict how the story is gonna go from there.
- Contested Sequel: Even amongst the few fans it has, opinions are mixed on whether the sequel is a nice surprise or completely unnecessary since the first movie was neither financially successful nor did it even end on a Sequel Hook.
- The Scrappy: Wei and Shumai. Two blatant Wayne's World expies who take up a lot of screentime to make corny one-liners and puns at every opportunity and are superfluous to the film as a whole considering their lack of impact on the plot.
- So Okay, It's Average: Reception to the movie has been generally ambivalent due to the derivative nature of the story as well as a noticeable decrease in animation quality.
- Suspiciously Similar Song: The new riff that Bodi dreams about has a strong resemblance to the chorus of "Good Brothers" by Namewee.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Pretty much sums up with the wolves who now live on Snow Mountain. Since Riff and Skozz are henchmen again, there are NO real standout good wolves, let alone ANY bearing on the story. There was a bit at the start where Khampa shows some mistrust in them, but it is instantly resolved. It would, however, later be used as the conflict for the next movie.
