• Magnificent Bastard: Robur is a man who has conquered the skies. Showing off his perfected heavy flight craft, the Albatross, Robur abducts several of his critics to show them the world in his aircraft and see if they will still belittle him and deny his genius. When they do, Robur arranges things to prove his genius to the world and ruin his rivals, departing into the skies, vowing to return and give humanity the secrets of flight one day.
