YMMV / Robin Hood S 02 E 10 Walkabout

• Special Effect Failure: For the most part, the episode does a genuinely admirable job of selling the idea that there really is a huge army coming to raze Nottingham to the ground via direction, the cast's performances, tense and dramatic scripting, Andy Price's music, keeping the army offscreen as long as possible and clever use of the number of people playing guards available to them when the army does actually have to be shown. Unfortunately, at the crucial moment when the guards are marching on Nottingham, there's an obvious CGI shot of a lot of little red lights moving towards the town which isn't nearly so effective.
