YMMV / Robin Hood S 01 E 03 Who Shot The Sheriff

• Angst? What Angst?: It's established that Robin and Marian have a pre-existing friendship with Lacey, but when he's killed right in front of them they look only mildly perturbed. In the very next scene they're completely composed and have already moved on to other matters.
• Captain Obvious Reveal: It came as a surprise to precisely no one in the audience to learn that Marian was the Nightwatchman.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: A village woman called Kate is filled with misplaced rage at Robin Hood after the death of a young male relative called Matthew. This is also the plot of the Series 3 episode Cause and Effect, though given the new writers and the Retool the show had undergone by that stage, the similarities are almost certainly a coincidence.
