• Designated Hero: Let's just say barely anyone sympathises with Morty mutilating Ethan. It gets worse considering how Morty berated Beth for looking up to Rick, and then ended up doing something that Rick would do.
• Informed Wrongness: Ethan's new girlfriend doesn't get enough screentime to show us if Ethan was actually only interested in her body or not. In fact, they were having a pretty nice (if vapid) conversation until a large Summer showed up, and Morty began shushing him before he could explain himself.
• Jerkass Woobie: Ethan. Even if he did dump Summer for Tricia, simply because she had bigger breasts, nobody deserves to get mutilated and deformed into a barely human looking abomination.
