• Informed Wrongness: Jerry is treated by the other characters as being an asshole for being clearly uncomfortable and upset about his parents' relationship with Jacob (in which Jacob is Joyce's lover, while Leonard watches them from a chair or closet dressed as Superman). While it's nice that the episode shows a loving polyamorous relationship and Beth and Summer being accepting of it, the fact is that Jerry's parents just brought Jacob along without telling Jerry who he is or even that he'd be coming with them (though to be fair, Jerry ridding of the tablets and phones might imply that Jerry never checked his phone on Jacob being included), and Jacob and Joyce later start making out on the couch in front of everyone. It's a lot to have just dropped on you at once, and it's hard to blame Jerry for feeling confused and rather upset by it. What's more, he does seem to come around to accepting Jacob by the end of the episode.
• Squick:
  • Being inside Reuben's body and seeing all the damage and disease that has been done.
  • Jerry really doesn't like it when his daughter starts seriously making out with her boyfriend, and then it gets worse when his parents start doing their own thing.
• The Woobie: Summer's boyfriend. Whatever his brother did to him, you can't help but feel sorry for the guy.
