• WTH, Costuming Department?: The Mechanoid Intergalactic Liberation Front are dressed as typical revolutionaries, with thick shades and black berets. Unfortunately, given their inherently non-threatening designs and lack of uniforms, they look more like an army of beatniks. (The real-life explanation for the shades was to save time and money on the makeup, since the areas around the eyes are the most difficult to do on Robert Llewellyn's Kryten makeup and it was impractical to do it for a whole army of mechanoids.)
