• The Woobie:
  • Jade was raised by the military without a proper family and thus without a name. Her only known friend from her home time died in front of her. She is now stuck, presumably for the rest of her life, as a stranger in a strange land. And she has good reason to believe that she is going to die young, probably very soon.
  • Toban sees his mother murdered in front of him without provocation. He is wise to surrender, but the people he saved don't see him that way at all.
  • Jerkass Woobie: Kibret was at a very low point in his life when Deathe persuaded him to join her side.
