YMMV / Random Pookie Adventures

Go To

  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The entire series could qualify, given the amount of random events that happen within it. But a few notable instances stand out.
    • Some of the special effects within the series are... odd to say the least. The random Pachirisu, for example, isn't entirely clear what it's supposed to represent (given it has nothing to do with the series, or even Hamtaro, for that matter!). Even Courtney was confused as to why it was in the edit.
    • A worker hamster complains about Pookie smashing a soap sculpture of Bijou. Why the sculpture or hamster are there are never explained or addressed again after this scene. Though, given that the entire episode was in Pookie's imagination, it's entirely possible that that they were not real in the first place.
    • The Pookiemobile, at least intentionally. While the first story about Hamtaro being in a movie leads into the main plot (paparazzi and bodyguarding), the Pookiemobile comes right out of nowhere as a random reference to the '96 Batman series. Judging by Hamtaro's reaction, even he is confused by it.
  • Dancing Bear: While the series itself is a So Bad It's Good Hamtaro fan animation, it would not be nearly as notable if it were not for the fact that it was made by a young Courtney/ProjectSNT.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: A fangirl constantly antagonizing the protagonist to be their boyfriend despite the latter's insistence on the contrary. Are we talking about Panini, or Pookie?
    • Speaking of, while the main inspiration of Panini would be an obvious influence for Pookie, as pointed out by Courtney herself in the review/reupload of the series, Random Pookie Adventures itself predates the airing of Chowder by 10 months.
Courtney: So I expect a paycheck in the mail, Mr. Greenblatt.
