• Audience-Alienating Era: Most of Mainframe's Post-Beast Wars work has received mixed-to-positive reviews from viewers, and it doesn't help that their more enjoyable shows were always Cut Short. By the time they adopted the Rainmaker name, the company was only able to stay afloat through direct-to-DVD movies. Viewer and critical reception of the company's work only got worse since the release of Escape from Planet Earth and their reboot of Bob the Builder. They were able to form a merger with Frederator Networks (Wow! Unlimited Media), but even then, Frederator Studios' output completely overshadows that of Rainmaker's quality-wise.
