• Base-Breaking Character:
  • Darla. A lot of fans don't find her trustworthy because of how she's hurt Blue and Ralph Angel in the past because of her drug addiction, while others think she's worked hard to become a better person and deserves to be forgiven for her past misdeeds.
  • Ralph Angel. A lot of fans dislike him because of his pride and how he treats the women in his life, but he still has his share of fans largely because he's such a good father to Blue.
• Romantic Plot Tumor: Nova and Remy starting a relationship in season 3 left a bad taste in people's mouths, especially since he just broke up with her sister, and many ultimately felt that arc was a waste of time.
• The Scrappy:
  • Davis. Practically everything he does makes Charley's life hell.
  • Nova becomes a Scrappy in season 4 after publishing a book that exposes all of her family members' dark and embarrassing secrets, thereby publicly humiliating them.
