  • Awesome Music: The whole soundtrack, composed by Peter Doyle.
  • Fan Nickname: "Scissordude" for Kutaro, before the game reveal. For the game itself, since the graphical style evokes both The Nightmare Before Christmas and LittleBigPlanet, The Nightmare Before Little Big Planet.
  • Genius Bonus: Mr. Pink's real name is Galahagrid Mulberry Timesawestin, or GMT for short. GMT also stands for Greenwich Mean Time, the primary time standard by which the world regulated clocks and time before the establishment of Coordinated Universal Time. Fitting for a character that's also the general manager of the Moon Clock.
  • Squick:
    • In Tiger's boss battle, you end up having to cut his fangs from out of his mouth; once you reach his head, you can actually see each fang dangling from its muscle. If that wasn't bad enough, Kutaro's final attack against Tiger involves cutting every single one of his teeth in half.
    • Even though everyone is a bloodless puppet of some sort, the way you maim the bosses can still come across as this.
    • The fact that all the bosses are cases of Used to Be a Sweet Kid does not help matters, especially when you go through the White Castle and see how adorable they all were.
    • In order to beat the giant pumpkin monster in Act V, Scene 2, Kutaro has to body slam right on top of their cavities until their rotten teeth explode.
  • That One Achievement:
    • The trophies "Sparktacular" (collect every Hundredsparkles using Kutaro) and "The Wooden Shoe Drops" (discover every short cutscene with Wynken, Blynken, and Nod) are particularly grueling and tedious because the game doesn't track which Hundredsparkles or cutscenes you've already collected, leaving most players to replay every level combing every last nook and cranny.
    • The "Better Squidaddle", "Strapping Jockey", "No Dragon Your Heels", and "...But Can You Parallel Park?" trophies all involve doing a No-Damage Run during the vehicle sections of certain levels. In several of these cases, the vehicle portion is most of the level. Have fun memorizing layouts!
