- Hilarious in Hindsight: Ashton routinely began referring to himself as "The Farmhand" while pranking pro-wrestlers. Come 2016's Netflix original The Ranch...
- Nightmare Fuel: While the show itself is very Cross the Line Twice funny, there are legit moments where the celebrity getting "punk'd" was scary, in particular the Zach Braff and Donald Faison prank. While Donald was handling the "prank" pretty well and calmly, Zach Braff? He was not amused, especially screaming at a teenager over the fact said teenager "sprayed his car", even at one point calmly saying he'll "beat him up". Jesus, you'll never look at JD the same again.
- Retroactive Recognition: Bill Hader was a field agent, as was Jill Wagner and Dax Shepard. B.J. Novak played the valet on Tracy Morgan's episode.
- The Woobie: On the very first episode, they got Justin Timberlake to cry and call his mom. His voice even broke when he believed that the repossession agents took his dogs as collateral.
