YMMV / Project Nimbus

Go To

  • Awesome Music: Project nimbus boasts quite the magnificent soundtrack, even with it being in early access right now.
  • Broken Base:
    • A notable number of fans was disappointed that the game didn't have customization features or multiplayer mode. Others complained that the controls feels 'light' for a mecha game, a thing that some players enjoy. Quite a number of player came in looking for a game similar to Armored Core series, only to find out that Project Nimbus didn't quite deliver.
    • A number of players voiced disappointment that the developers of PC version did not update the game's features to match up with Playstation 4 version. It's not until 2019 when Complete Edition was ported back to PC for owners of original game free of charge.
  • Expy: Yamato Fortress in mission 18 is basically the Stonehenge from Ace Combat.
  • Tear Jerker: Three words = Tenshi No Saigo
  • That One Boss:
    • The Black Knights squadron in Mission 10 used to be a case of this (even though you're in a freaking Zavtra), so much that it raised tons of complaints in the game's Facebook page prompting the developers to tone it down, while moving the original AI to hardest difficulty.
    • GCTX-01 Mirai at the end of Act 2 has Regenerating Health on top of its habit to move around so fast it breaks any sort of lock-on you attempt unless you actively keep it in your vision. And you don't get Regenerating Health in hardest difficulty. This gets worse in later Early Access patch where locking-on no longer centers your camera on the target.
  • Suspiciously Similar Song: Most of the soundtrack has a very similar (if not almost identical) style used by Hiroyuki Sawano in many of his OSTs, especially from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.
