  • Crack Pairing: In Pretty Cure Anime Theatre, Emiru/Asa in Soul Eater.
  • Fridge Horror: In Pretty Cure Anime Theatre. Every time a Cure is resurrected in Madoka Magica, they feel the pain of whatever injury killed them until said injury is undone; worse, they remember not only dying, but also how they died. After Yumi complains about her head being crushed, Yasu says, "You're not alone. Kenny, or should I say Mysterion, remembers every death he went through as well."

  • Funny Moments: In Pretty Cure Anime Theatre, when Izumi as Blair approaches the bit players playing Mizune's army of mice, they scurry off stage, leading Mitsuuru as Maka to laugh and yell, "Hey, guys!"
    • And then he makes a pun of the proverb "When the cats are away, the mice will play."
    • Also, Hisato wearing a tutu over his casual clothes during preparations in the Princess Tutu episode, including the one-hour ballet session beforehand that's led by Hanae.
      • Also, during the same session, Yasu (who is watching the whole thing with Shugo and Shun while the three are eating popcorn) wonders why they didn't change into more appropriate gear for the situation. Shugo says, "While Ayameko isn't afraid to dress femininely, as seen in a few later episodes of Pretty Cure Perfume Preppy, she isn't above being casual and boyish even when preparing for our production." The costume she's referring to is a short-sleeved purple top, a jeans vest, and yellow pants with black tiger stripes. What makes the moment funny is Yasu saying, "Lucky she isn't wearing anything long-sleeved, with the weather outside being as hot as my mum."
      • During the same production, Hisato shows up to the final battle dressed as a bunny. When Shugo, Hanae, and Shun laugh at him, Shugo mention it's his costume. Hisato states that he intended on being comedic, and Shugo laughs a bit more before saying, "Get back in the dressing room. We're about to do the final battle scene, so could you please dress in something more princely?"
    • From Inspector Gadget (1999):
Lina: Speaking of breaking the law, who's not wearing a seatbelt? Gotta wear the belt, baby. It's a Disney movie!
  • Harsher in Hindsight: In Pretty Cure Anime Theatre. Remember the incident in Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert where neither Miley Cyrus nor her father were wearing their seatbelts? They did exactly the opposite of what the Gadgetmobile told us to do in a Disney movie in Inspector Gadget (1999). This trope is thus lampshaded:
Lina: Speaking of breaking the law, who's not wearing a seatbelt? Gotta wear the belt, baby. It's a Disney movie!
Yasu: Yeah... tell that to Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray.
  • Never Live It Down: In Pretty Cure Anime Theatre. One fanseries author thinks Haruki will tease his sister for a while about her portrayal of Dr. Stein in Soul Eater. Also, as seen in the prologue to Tales from Earthsea, Lina is unwilling to let Hanae live down her swearing spree from Kämpfer, never mind that Hanae was traumatized enough by the whole affair as it was.
  • The Scrappy: In Pretty Cure Anime Theatre. Femio from Princess Tutu wasn't included in the PCAT adaptation simply because of Bia's strong hatred towards him. After all, the author doesn't want to turn Femio into a Creator's Pet.
