- Complete Monster: Wilson Fisk is a mob boss feared by everyone in New York, with only Matt Murdock brave enough to stand up to him. Fisk has framed Frank Castle for his murder of his ex-partner Leland Owlsley, who killed Frank's family, and tries to get Murdock off the case by planting a hood to force Frank's confession and sending Matt's girlfriend, Karen Page, to the hospital. When Matt is undeterred and calls him to the witness stand, Fisk kills Karen, kidnaps his friend Foggy, robs Matt's apartment, and has him dropped in the middle of nowhere to die. When Matt returns and makes a breakthrough on the case thanks to William Watts, who Fisk tried to have assassinated, Fisk takes revenge by taunting Matt over his past drug abuse and how he got Karen addicted, before killing him with his bare hands. Fisk then delivers Matt's funeral eulogy, mockingly citing his past of abuse and thanking the attorneys who got him off the hook, before he's killed by a vengeful Frank Castle to end his reign of terror.

- What Matt Murdock has gone through, such as getting disorientated because of his messed-up apartment, or being kidnapped and released in the middle of nowhere, only to come back to NY without a clue of what was going on around him, is deeply unsettling to say the least.
