YMMV / Postman Pat S 4 E 5

• Nightmare Fuel: It's no wonder "Postman Pat and the Thunderstorm" ended up a Banned Episode; this is easily one of the most serious episodes in the show.
  • The main conflict is that Bonnie, a puppy who is afraid of thunder, running off and getting lost in the middle of a thunderstorm. None of the other characters, and not even the audience, knows where she is or if she's safe for the duration of the runtime. Adding to this is Mrs Goggins' outright haunting cries of Bonnie's name as she wanders through the storm all alone...damn.
  • Some realistic, major consequences of thunderstorms are shown, such as a tree taking out a telephone pole, and flash flooding that forces Pat and Julian to abandon the van and search for Bonnie on foot.
• Tear Jerker: Mrs Goggins is clearly frightened and devastated over Bonnie going missing, as she howls her name out in the storm, and later, once she's safe inside the Clifton house, weeps over her beloved puppy's disappearance.
