- Tank catches several Pokémon in the first chapter alone.
- In Chapter 21, Benedict faces Dobie, one of the main villains and leader of Team Cottage. At one point, he corners him with a Magikarp, namely his trusted Asuka.
- Nightmare Fuel:
- The backstories of all three protagonists imply they all have been sexually assaulted.
- Tank, while usually not a fan of fights, becomes ruthless when he faces Team Cottage. And he is not to blame either, they really earned his wrath with their actions.
