YMMV / Personality Conflicts

• Fanon: Ellen's versions of a lot of things became fanfic shorthand across PR fandom over the last fifteen years. Rocky's and Tommy's siblings, Adam's family life, and Lita Kino as team psychologist among them. Any stories which use the PC-original Rangers will, inevitably, duplicate Jason and Jamie's meeting underneath a tree verbatim for no apparent reason.
  • After the Trial Arc there was a cottage industry of mass Saban Ameritoku crossovers, about half of which simply used Shadowborg as the villain as well.
  • There were no less than six "PC Ranger Sliders" series by other writers at one time or another. None crossed over with each other (sadly).
• Harsher in Hindsight: Tommy's suicide attempt in Revelations becomes this after Tommy's actor Jason David Frank committed suicide for real in November 2022.
• Ho Yay: Jason and Tommy exchange ILYs at one point. It's strictly a brotherly love though, not a romantic one.
• Nightmare Fuel: Well, there's Nyghtmayr, obviously. But there's also Andros witnessing his entire team killed and the destruction of KO-35.
