• Funny Moments: Vladeslav's wedding
• Heartwarming Moments: Rosie helping Dieter get Angela to Paris safely after she is declared a suspect (read: guilty) in the assassination plot because she wants Dieter to be happy
• Ho Yay: Played with between Dieter and Angela, since Dieter thinks that Angela is a boy, and justified with Vladeslav and Melchioras because Vladeslav actually is homosexual and attracted to Melchioras.
• Moment of Awesome: Angela shaming a crowd of angry, German-hating, armed Italians into not attacking Dieter, then bringing him into the church to receive medical attention, even though she's scared of Germans and has never left the church before
  • After Vladeslav finds Melchioras's cross, he knows that he's going to be beaten unless he denies that it's his, which Vladeslav gives him every opportunity to do. Instead, he not only says that the cross is his, but recites the Hail Mary, then walks calmly into the torture room
  • Alicen crossing the English Channel.
