• Awesome Ego: Even after her apparent death, Uzal Delilah leaves behind messages that always begin with her boasting about her beauty and intelligence.
  Uzal: (as a giant hologram) My name is Uzal Delilah. I'm a great genius, and a beautiful, wise scientist.
  Takumi: Huge! Pain!
  
  Uzal: My name is Uzal Delilah. I'm a beautiful genius scientist, both wise and brilliant, great and short-lived.
  Robert: Heh.
• Broken Base: The biggest division among viewers is between those who wish this was a serious cyberpunk story, and those who accept it for being "a story of girl meets girl."
• Crazy Is Cool: Only a Mad Scientist who's perfectly aware of how sexy she is would make the control interface for a superweapon look like nude statues of herself.
• Ho Yay:
  • Let's say that Nene is a tad attached to Clarion. Not helped by all the blushing she does when she finds out that the Pandora Device's activation port is more or less located close to Clarion's crotch (Clarion even shows signs of arousal (blushing and moaning) when Nene uses the port). In the final episode Clarion promised Nene she's going to confess to her after she achieves world peace.
  • Phobos, the "sister" of Clarion and former (?) Poseidon operative, is also very attracted to Nene, to Clarion's extreme annoyance.
  • Takumi and the entire cosplay minion squad seem to have a Tsundere attitude towards Uzal.
  • Judging by her reaction to the flashback to her and Uzal's time at Poseidon, Takumi's feelings for Uzal might go beyond "mere" friendship.
