  • Alternate Character Interpretation:
    • Meso and Eljay believe that Turaga Whenua, Kopeke, and a Muaka are all part of the Cult of the NSA.
    • They also believe that the Muaka that attacks Matoro in Ko-Koro travelled from the future to kill him seven years earlier.
  • Awesome Music: Courtesy of Ven, the intro and outro music for the Podcast, as well as the Bionicle Autopsy theme.
  • Broken Base: The Canonisation Contests are the most controversial topic bar none. TTV had the idea to ask BIONICLE story lead and writer Greg Farshtey if he would be interested in canonising the appearances of characters made in contests, which LEGO themselves had previously officially held, but everything about the contests immediately became subject to debate; whether they should be held in the first place, the rules for each and every entry (in particular whether custom or painted pieces should be allowed and especially how much the Toa Hagah could differ from their released members), how TTV handled them, and the infamous "Hoseryx" debate (a joke entry that almost won the first contest after Trolls voted for it). The majority of the community does seem to approve of them, but it's a consistently narrow divide in polls.
  • Crosses the Line Twice: "Are you carrying any bombs?" "No, but I AM the bomb." "Everyone GET DOWN!"
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Meso and Eljay seem to have this on the podcast, but Var's Bionicle Autopsy series is by far the most popular.
  • Fountain of Memes:
    • Much of the cast, but especially Mesonak.
    • Their script reading of BIONICLE Revolution.
  • Growing the Beard: Var himself admits that the old podcasts, iBZP especially, were not very good , especially not to the standard they hold themselves to nowadays.
  • Harsher in Hindsight:
    • After years of joking about it, Eljay was let go for real in mid 2017, though thankfully he returned.
    • Eljay and Kahi's Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, after it was revealed that they never got along and Kahi orchestrated Eljay's firing.
    • Kini was often joked to vanish for months at a time and reappear out of the blue. In 2021 he dropped his resignation on the group with precisely no warning.
  • Heartwarming in Hindsight: Though it should be noted that there is no animosity between Eljay and the rest of the TTV team, and he still has a presence due to his content still being on the channel and Eljay still being featured in all the cover photos. Meso even joined Eljay on his own podcast prior to Eljay's return (at a time when Eljay still didn't think he'd be returning).
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Kahi jokingly predicted Bionicle's 2015 return back in 2013.
  • Just Here for Godzilla: There are many fans who find only a few series or videos to be entertaining, while caring not at all for the others. The most common case is Bionicle fans who couldn't care less for Chima or Ninjago videos.
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • "You cannot stop me, interloper, I will alter canon!"
    • "The Hype Train has no brakes!"
    • "Shredder Claws!"
    • "Terribad"
  • Periphery Demographic: While the group is formed of older fans, and keeps them in mind for most videos, quite a few younger LEGO fans follow them as well, and the group consistently keep them in mind.
  • Tear Jerker: Sadly, the group were hit by a few in 2016-2018.
    • Eljay's firing in mid-2017, which caught him completely off-guard and caused him to believe that the rest of his friends hated his guts.
    • prpldrgn's brief exit from the channel. While her presence is still downplayed due to her schoolwork, she was being emotionally manipulated by Kahi for months, including into Eljay's firing, which led to her handing in her resignation. Kahi's firing brought both of them back.
    • Kini's exit from the channel. Months after doing so he publicly criticised how Eljay and Mesonak had been handling the Canon Contests (he had helped them with the Artahka contest) and it came to light that he'd had ideas to improve them, but when Meso had understandably wanted to get Eljay's opinion so he wasn't going behind his back, Kini refused to tell Eljay out of a belief Eljay would dismiss any idea he put forward. Kini's criticism also came at a time when Eljay and Meso admitted the contests were taking a toll on their mental health.
