YMMV / Pam Tillis

Go To

  • Covered Up:
    • One of her early Warner singles, "Those Memories of You", was later recorded by Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, and Linda Ronstadt on their Trio album.
    • Zig-zagged with "Don't Tell Me What to Do". It was originally recorded by Marty Stuart under the title "I'll Love You Forever If I Want To", but his version was a Missing Episode until shortly after Tillis's came out.
    • "Ancient History", an album cut from Put Yourself in My Place, was later released in Canada by the band Prairie Oyster.
    • Two tracks on Homeward Looking Angel: "We've Tried Everything Else" was later recorded in 1994 by Michelle Wright, and "Rough and Tumble Heart" was a cover of Highway 101.
    • Country fans will most likely name her version of "When You Walk in the Room" over the original by Jackie DeShannon.
    • From Every Time, "A Great Disguise" is a cover of Martina McBride.
    • The title track of Thunder & Roses was lifted from Mindy McCready.
    • During her tenure on Warner (Bros.) Records, she recorded but did not release "Five Minutes", which would later go on to become a #1 hit for Lorrie Morgan.
