• Aluminum Christmas Trees: The fact that the carnivorous animals in the game can be fed food such as berries and fruit and be content with it. Modern day extant relatives, crocodilians especially, are capable of safely eating fruit and berries as a dietary supplement to gain the nutrients they can't otherwise gain from their predatory diets alone, often times eating directly from the trees themselves. This also plays a role in helping spreading the seeds of the fruit they feed off of.
• Memetic Psychopath: Due to their ominously stoic personality and being the only person in the game who sells carnivore food, there are a lot of joke-theories that Corlan is a serial killer. The developers noticed this and released several pieces of merchandise with the text "Where does the meat come from, Corlan?" on them, such as shirts and mugs.
