- Franchise Original Sin: Many people were not a fan of the designs given to Pac-Man and the Ghost Gang in The Ghostly Adventures in spite of the designs originating here. However, when Pac-Man Party was released, not many people were aware of it, or that Pac-Man was even still around. Whereas The Ghostly Adventures was show broadcast publicly on television for all to see.
- Heartwarming Moments:
- The moment in the Story Mode where Patra and Pinky become friends, especially considering the fact that Patra asked if they were friends even though she and Pinky just met.
- Patra referring to Pac-Man as her first friend.
- Nightmare Fuel: Everything about Bearserk once he reveals himself to be a killer robot after all his candy is stolen.
- Porting Disaster: The 3DS version, in addition to downgrading the graphics to fit the 3DS’ hardware, cut out a lot of content, including two boards. That proved to be the least of its problems.
- So Okay, It's Average: The general consensus among critics and players of the Wii version. The same can not be said of the 3DS version. See Porting Disaster above for the reasons why.
