• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The Christina Applegate name drop in "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss".
• Covered Up: "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss" was covered by The Backstreet Boys on their debut Self-Titled Album.
• Critical Dissonance: Their first album has their only number one, and they quickly slipped into cult status. Despite this their reviews remained positive.
• Signature Song: "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss". It hit number 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 (and was the group's only song to do so). And it was ranked number 81 on VH 1's 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop.
