• Crosses the Line Twice: Snake Tag mode can be incredibly frustrating while having to navigate long dungeons with narrow spots to avoid the snake, but seeing it rush through the party during a cutscene where they're on a bus/boat/Sky Runner only for the party to suddenly drop dead after getting off the vehicle at the end of the trip ends up being funny.
• Game-Breaker: With the Extended PSI Shuffle settings turned on, Ness, Paula, and/or Poo can learn PSI Rocket— a.k.a. Jeff's Bottle Rockets in PSI form. The Beta version can easily do over 500 damage while Gamma and Omega will clear four digits even after the April 2022 update that reduced their power. With those same settings, Jeff can obtain a Rocket Launcher or Rocket Launcherer, which combines his Bazooka and Bottle Rocket items for infinite Bottle Rockets for free!
• That One Level: More so for how much extra time these places can take when aiming for a speedrun than difficulty.
  • Much like the vanilla game, players will dread having to do the Monkey Cave despite getting a key item from Talah Ramah and a teleport location from the Teleport Monkey.
  • Stonehenge can be this if it requires taking a second trip to Winters, especially without the Pencil Eraser to bypass Brickroad's dungeon.
