• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The show is far more remembered in Latin American regions, given it had more exposure over there even into the early 00s.
• The Scrappy: The mole is probably the most irritating character from the entire series, who exists only to enjoy the mishaps that befall the other animals with his annoying laugh. Where cartoon antics are fair game to all the cast, the mole is somehow exempt from this. Presumably he was included as a means of inserting a Laugh Track into all the zaniness, but his mocking comes off as mean-spirited at times.
• Woolseyism: Ollie and the series were both renamed as Toribio in Spanish regions, a name that also has a puny origin with Toro, spanish for Ox.
• Dueling Dubs: In 2010 the series received a new dub which follows the Dutcch but rather then Saban dub but keeps theEnglish name
