- Awesome Music: Many, many examples from this band, but some of the standouts include "To New Shores of Sadness", "Easton Hope", "To the End", "The Things We Believe In", "Ravenhead", "F.E.V.E.R.", "Gunman", and "Vampire in Ghost Town". Their earlier material from Testimonium A.D. like "Ethereal Ocean" and "Angels War" (the latter of which was re-recorded for To the End) is no less stellar too.
- Funny Moments: Despite the rather dark themes of their music, the band themselves balance it out by maintaining a lighthearted and silly demeanor onstage and behind the scenes:
- "FUCK YOU PUSSY!"
- The Hidden Track on Vale, "(Who's the) Green Man", featuring an intentionally very goofy Piss-Take Rap that Seeb and Nils incoherently slur their way through about encountering the titular Green Man at a show(?) before an admittedly pretty good Ska-style breakdown. The outro of the band cracking up as they attempt to deliver the final line is also priceless.Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh. Ooh yeah.
Yeah. Oh yeah.
Uh-huh. Yeah.
Who's the Green Man? - The band has a tradition of uploading joke "studio reports" to their YouTube channel, such as the one covering Seeb's "real voice" and the special audio software used to convince the listeners that he has "sung good" or their pilgrimage to visit Mike Motinote , "King of the Motis" in the faraway land of "Moti Bay".
- They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Some longtime fans have complained that the band has veered in a somewhat more straightforward "poppy" direction since the release of Ravenhead and away from the more experimental folk and progressive influences heard on earlier releases.
